Bios

Kerry Rooks is the Group Chief People Officer at HKEX and is a member of the HKEX Management Committee. Prior to joining HKEX, Ms Rooks was Chief Human Resources Officer at Prudential, Hong Kong. She has also worked in various Human Resources roles for New York Life International - Asia, based out of Hong Kong; AIG in both New York and Hong Kong; and Prudential Life Insurance in Tokyo.

Ms Rooks holds a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts from the University of Melbourne, Australia.

Chris is the Head of Finance & Managing Director for a leading capital markets and investment group. He has over 20+ years in the Financial Services sector, and has held senior Finance roles.

Chris currently leads a global team of 80+ finance professional across Asia Pacific, Europe and North America, focusing on financial reporting and regulatory compliance. Additionally, Chris is currently driving transformational initiatives focused on process, finance system and automation improvements, that will deliver tangible efficiency and productivity, and enhance the employee experience.

Chris was previously an auditor at KPMG and PwC, and focused on the clients in the financial services industry. He also participated in key IPO listing projects in Mainland China & Hong Kong. Chris has a Bachelor of Accounting & Finance from The Hong Kong University of Science & Technology (HKUST).

Cary is an accomplished HR leader with some 20 years of experience. Most recently, she was identified as one of the most influential HR leaders in Hot List 2023 by Human Resources Director (HRD) Asia, recognizing Cary for her leadership, innovation and industry contributions.

As the Vice President for People and Culture and part of the senior leadership team at Klook, she is a trusted advisor on organizational and people matters across over 20 locations globally. The People & Culture team, under her charge, has also been named among Innovative HR Teams - which are breaking boundaries to move the HR industry forward - by HRD Asia in 2022 & 2023.

Before joining Klook, Cary was the Director of People & Culture for Publicis Groupe in Hong Kong and the strategic business partner of their senior management team. She also previously occupied a couple of regional roles in different global organizations across technology, media and professional services industries, where she helped build and expand the startup team in the APAC region.

Keith is the Chief Technology Officer of Li & Fung and also a member of the company’s Leadership Council. Prior to Li & Fung, he held different executive roles at S.F. Express, including Chief Technology Officer of S.F. Technology, Chief Information Officer and CEO of S.F. international overseas region based out of Shenzhen as well as CMO of S.F. Express HK. His vast experience cuts across Technology and Digital in Asia Pacific for both established and start-up businesses. Prior to joining S.F. Express, Keith was Senior Director of Enterprise Business and Supply Chain Cloud for Oracle Asia Pacific and Head of Solution Consulting for SAP Greater China.

Keith holds an Executive MBA degree from both Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and HKUST, a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.

Gary Chung manages the supply chain function for MGM’s two integrated resorts in Macau, covering FF&E, OS&E, F&B, facilities, construction, and entertainment. He has lead the procurement and inventory systems implementation for both MGM Macau and MGM Cotai, and was a key pre-opening systems contributor for MGM’s US properties Bellagio and Beau Rivage. During his time at MGM, Gary has lead multiple systems implementations and transformations to match the company’s expansion and changes in technologies.
